The Inn on the Moor are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team. Working under the General Manager to assist with the day to day running and service of the hotel including restaurant, bar and events.

Responsibilities

The Inn on the Moor is a charming country hotel, located in the heart of one of North York Moors National Park’s most popular scenic villages.

The Inn on the Moor are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team. Working under the General Manager to assist with the day to day running and service of the hotel including restaurant, bar and events.

Learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.

The role will include a number of aspects all customer service based. The position will cover working in a number of different positions to carry out operations within the hotel.

This will include;

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
  • Events and functions service.
  • Reception duties including manning the desk and greeting guests.

All roles will include customer service skills, cash handling and some aspects of stock taking, stock rotation and maintaining a profession and tidy/clean working environment.

Future Prospects

The possibility of a full time position on successful completion of the Apprenticeship, with a permanent contract. Possibility to continue on to an advanced apprenticeship.

Skills Required

  • Hospitality experience would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Good communication and time keeping skills .
  • Confident in communication with customers and hotel guests.

Qualifications Required

Basic maths and English skills required. Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
