What will the apprentice be doing?
You will gain valuable on-the-job experience & skills plus a comprehensive training programme that will prepare you for an exciting professional career. Working with & learning from a team of highly skilled HV Engineers, SAP’s & support staff, you will be involved in all aspects of the HV industry. As part of the team, you will support your peers in the delivery of HV engineering, given extensive training to develop, leading you into a career within the HV utilities sector.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Electrical Power Networks Engineering standard
- Company Training Plan
- Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering (electrical)
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma (work based competency)
- End Point Assessment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The programme will take approximately 3 years to complete and is centered on work-based learning in addition to training linked directly to the HV industry. You will gain valuable on-the-job experience, skills, and an industry recognised qualifications with the prospect of a long term role within Lucy Group.
