We are offering a fantastic opportunity for Healthcare Assistant Apprentices to join our team at Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead, London As you will be joining an apprentice, experience is not essential to this role - instead we are looking for applicants who have a passion for caring, and who are great with people, enthusiastic and motivated

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for Healthcare Assistant Apprentices to join our team.

We operate a successful person-centred approach giving you the opportunity to really get to know your patients, their families and provide exceptional quality, individualised care. The In-Patient unit offers care to patients with a wide range of palliative and end of life conditions meaning no two days are the same.

As an apprentice experience is not essential to this role, we are looking for applicants who have a passion for caring, this could be either through previous roles in social care or your life experience.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

We are looking for individuals who are committed, to achieving a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Level 3) apprenticeship programme.

Training will be offered via our training partner Community Matters and will also include on the job training.

 

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We have a range of healthcare roles and opportunities on offer across both hospice care/nursing and community care/nursing
