A great opportunity for an apprentice to work for a successful show jumper, producer of competition horses, rider coach and TV commentator. This is a non-riding position, but there is an opportunity to bring your own horse


Duties to include:

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Tack cleaning
  • Tacking up
  • Feeding
  • Filling hay nets
  • Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
  • Bathing
  • Rug changing
  • Schooling
  • First aid
  • Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, Pessoa training etc.)
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
  • Grooming at day and away shows

Future Prospects

Possibility to progress onto L3 after completing L2.
