Job Description

Apprentice Furniture Finisher for a Furniture Manufacturer based in Leeds. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

Responsibilities

We manufacture contract specification furniture supplying trade customers throughout the UK. Our principle markets are healthcare (a sector which includes nursing and residential care homes, special needs facilities, hospitals etc.) housing associations, key worker, student accommodation and hotel leisure.

Duties will include:

  • Prepare the furniture for polishing
  • Learn to spray polish furniture to the required quality standard
  • Learn to colour match different polish colours and different types of timber

Future Prospects

  • Upon completion of the apprenticeship you could progress into full-time employment
