Job Description

It is hoped that this apprenticeship will lead to a position as an Assistant Production Manager. Working alongside our Production Manager and his team, the position will include all aspects of the manufacturing of our Mead and other branded products, and cover warehousing; stock control; despatch and delivery; QC and H&S.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Working alongside the Production Manager and his team. Learning how to manufacture mead and other products. Postion will include warehousing and despatch, including all related paperwork, stock control and delivery logistics.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Qualfication on completion of apprenticeship will be Food and Drink Process Operator (Level 2).

Onsite training will be given by S.A.M.B and will be arranged via training provider around tidal access times.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once training is completed, followed by a period of line responsibility of all processes, it is expected that the appointment to Assistant Production Manager will be offered. 

The succesful person will be working alongside colleagues in the wider group so a  CCDL and living within a 30mile radius of Holy Island would be ideal.
