Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be working with experienced trades people on our BD Living site and contributing to our production from day 1, building 5-star quality homes for our customers. You’ll always have a senior mentor from the business who will help you with your learning and offer you career advice from someone who has been on the same journey.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

On site you will be working with experienced trades people and learning from the best. In college you will learn new skills and spend plenty of time putting them in to practice in a safe environment, ready for when you return to site. This is an intensive course and is focussed on developing your knowledge and practical skills. You will gain your L2 Fitted interiors qualifcation and your functional skills in Maths and English if required.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You’re going to have great options once you’re finished. Should you prove to be a great employee you will have the opportunity to work for us permanently as a qualified tradesperson.
