Job Description

Protec Technical are a specialist Recruitment Agency based in Central Fareham, we support clients within the Aerospace and Aviation sectors supplying both Permanent recruitment programs and contractors worldwide. We are looking to recruit a Business/Finance Administrator to be a front facing member of the team in a varied role.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

As Business Administrator Apprentice you will learn the following:
 

Primary Responsibilities/Activities: (not limited)

Office Administration – Raising necessary documentation, control of returned contracts etc, filing, stationary ordering

Payroll- Managing the incoming timesheets, candidate Invoices and raising Invoices to Clients in a correct and timely manner, manage payroll complaints

Suppliers – to engage and manage appropriate suppliers to meet the needs of the Protec business in a cost-efficient and effective manner

Premises – Keep office clean and tidy


Internal & External Relationships: (with whom, nature & purpose of relationship)

  • Clients – Communicate with clients respectfully, proactively and responsively. Strive to meet clients-requirements in a manner consistent with Protec objectives (complaints, praises or otherwise);
  • Candidates/Contractors – Relationship will generally be by telephone, Meet statutory and legal requirements; ensure that Protec and candidate/contractor requirements are met,
  • Bookkeeper – work closely with bookkeeper and accounts department to ensure correct and timely payroll and invoicing (Relationship via the FD).
  • Suppliers – To manage suppliers via direct relationships or by delegation.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Qualification/s to be obtained: Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 

The training will be delivered by Business Plus at Fareham College, an Ofsted Outstanding College. Your training will be delivered at your place of work and virtually. The schedule of this training is to be confirmed.
