Responsibilities
To work in a very busy windows and doors frame manufacturer as a member of the Production Team Working within the Window and Door production assembly department.
You will be learning the following skills during your apprenticeship, whilst undertaking your Level 2 Fenestration Fabricator qualification;
- Welding
- Cutting
- Beading
- Use of PVC saw
- Operating of a comp saw
- Operating 4 headed welder and CNC corner cleaner
To ensure work is carried out in accordance with company standards at all times, you will be required to work towards targets within a busy production team
- Team hanging
- Beading
- Gaskets of aluminium and UPVC frames
- Ensuring the manufacturing schedule is achieved quickly and efficiently as possible in order to meet targets and deadlines
- Assisting in all area's of the production process and having a flexible working approach
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
Future Prospects
- Upon completion of the apprenticeship you could progress into full-time employment

Intermediate level 2 Apprenticeship in Fenestration, including NVQ and functional skills maths and English. Work based learning.
