We currently have an opportunity to join our fantastic team as an apprentice Events Assistant. You will be joining an award winning Marquee company with over 20 years experience in the events industry. No week is the same, each week comes with new experiences!


Duties of the role will include:

  • Taking initial enquiries and providing a detailed quotation to customers both on the phone and through email
  • Following up initial enquiries and providing any additional information needed by the customer
  • Attending wedding fayres and talking to potential customers
  • Providing recommendations to customers for other suppliers that they may need for their event
  • Talking to customers regarding other suppliers needs that link into the equipment being supplied by ourselves
  • Providing customers with layout plans and ensuring the layout works for the customer's needs
  • Planning logistics for the installation and take down of each event
  • Arranging any hire equipment we might need for each of the marquees
  • Ensuring job paperwork is printed off and passed on the relevant staff
  • Loading trailers and lorries with the correct equipment needed for installation
  • Ensuring all equipment is up to a suitable standard and is working effectively
  • Travelling to site and carrying out installation
  • Discussing with clients on site about their requirements and troubleshooting any issues that may be raised
  • Learning framework specifications for each different marquee and how each is installed
  • Attending call outs if necessary to help rectify customer issues
  • Return to site to safely take down the marquee and all associated equipment once the event is complete

Wages will be discussed at interview. 28 days paid holiday per year.

Future Prospects

Full time further employment, the opportunity to progress to site manager and then further to general manager.

  • GCSE English and maths at Level 4/C or above
