What will the apprentice be doing?
Based in the Laboratory, working alongside an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to develop into a Laboratory Technician/Engineer. This will include:
1. Providing technical support for development and validation of new LEONI products and processes
2. Performing measurements on vehicles, wiring harnesses and components
3. Preparing technical test reports for internal and external customers
4. Participating in product warranty analysis
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will study part time for approximately 4 and a half years attending one day a week at Newcastle College/Staffordshire University on the Level 6 Embedded Electronic Systems Engineering Programme. On successful completion you will be awarded not only the Apprenticeship but a BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering Award.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will be developing to become an experienced Laboratory Technician/Engineer. Working within a global organisation there will be lots of opportunities available to you both within the UK and worldwide.
