This vacancy is for an Apprentice Engineer based in Burnley, Lancashire. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertake valuable work experience whilst gaining on the job qualifications.

Responsibilities

An Apprentice Engineer roles will include:

  • Basic engineering drawing, measuring and marking out, knowledge of engineering materials and handling of engineering information
  • Fitting using hand skills, machining using engineering materials
  • Producing engineering drawings using CAD, Computer Aided Design

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 4 GCSEs A-C including maths, English, Science. or equivalents

Training Provided

  • Technical Certificate, Level 3 e.g. City and Guilds 2800 or BTEC Diploma
  • Functional Skills, Level 2 in mathematics, English and ICT if needed
  • IOSH Working Safely (Only for learners that are based in centre for year 1)
  • Level 3 Qualification in Engineering
