Job Description

To train and develop as an Apprentice Electrician by attending the required training to gain the appropriate qualifications whilst gaining on the job skills and experience with Saffron.


What will the apprentice be doing?

To undertake and complete the level 3 Electrotechnical qualification and AM2.

Work within the Electrical team with our inhouse Electricians to carry out all electrical domestic works including:

o   Maintenance, modernisation, improvements and remedial works

Work within the Health and Safety parameters set by Saffron

To attend training as required, and to successfully complete all subsequent work on time and to the required standard as set by the training provider.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification and AM2.

Training via JTL based in Bowthorpe, Norwich


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion of full training and AM2 to become a fully fledged Electrician

Reality Check

Must be comfortable working within confined areas e.g. roof spaces, which are subject to fluctuating temperatures during the year.
