First Friends Preschool is a registered charity, early years care and education provider led by a committee, situated three miles from Sudbury, Suffolk. We are based in our own purposed built building in the grounds of Great Waldingfield Primary school.

Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Assisting in delivering a high level of quality childcare maintaining a professional and positive outcome for both children and staff
- Building effective relationships with children, parents and team members
- Ensuring each childs individual needs are met
- Work towards the apprenticeship standards with an expectation of completion within the agreed timeframe
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The apprentice will be learning the Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship standard
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
A possible permanent position as an early years level 3 qualified member of staff upon completion of apprenticeship.Reality Check
