As the Apprentice Customer Services Coordinator,  you will be responsible for:


  • Meeting the customer / client expectations on a daily basis
  • Building relationships with those who require customer service support
  • Using logic and proven methodology to find effective solutions to challenging problems in a fast-paced environment
  • To be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues
  • Ensuring all orders are administered into the Medequip software accurately
  • To liaise with the local Occupational Therapists, Physio Therapists and District Nurses regarding technical, product and client requirements
  • Following an agreed specification and transcript
  • Follow all Medequip Way customer service procedures
  • To provide the highest levels of stock management to the Company standards within the service specification
  • To ensure that all aspects of the warehouse are maintained in a clean, orderly and efficient manner that complies with the company’s health & safety policy
  • This role involves heavy lifting,  but full training will be provided
  • Uses logic and proven methodology to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems; looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at first answers
  • Occasionally support visits to clients homes and assist installation, delivery/collection of equipment
  • Liaising with the customer services team on site on product related queries or questions
  • Working closely with Technicians, Service Engineers and Customer Services
  • Organising and arranging transfer from different depots

Qualities Required

  • Ability to remain calm, and to be able to maintain polite attitude when handling phone calls with sensitive or disturbed customers which may display various different emotions
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE's grade 4-9 in English and maths are preferred but not essential.
