What will the apprentice be doing?
The Property Maintenance and Compliance Team at NPH are looking to employ an Apprentice Customer Service Officer, working within a busy Business Support Team.
This is an exciting time for the team, as we embark on an ambitious plan to improve performance and our service to residents within the Northampton Borough.
Working within a busy back office team, you will be responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient support service for our in-house team of maintenance operatives, sub-contractors and compliancy team.
You will have the opportunity to work with a range of different people and teams, such as Business Support, Maintenance Surveyors, Operational staff and Housing Managers.
There will also be a requirement to interact and liaise with external customers in the form of tenants and leaseholders, tenant representatives and members of the public, employees and departments within NPH.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
A mix of on and off the job training and practical experience covering the knowledge and practical aspects needed to be successful in the job role and complete the Customer Service level 2 course. During the off the job training you will build a portfolio evidencing your work and will be working through a series of task manuals to complete the qualification.
