Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an Apprentice Customer Service Advisor to join our team, in doing so you will be supported to achieve an NVQ level 2/3 as part of your role. By the end of the apprenticeship you will have sound knowledge and the competence to be able to operate your way around any of our offices.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Taking incoming telephone calls and dealing with enquiries in a professional manner
  • Outbound telephone calls and order capture from “house” accounts
  • Resolving enquiries relating to any customer service matters
  • Inputting orders onto the system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Raising credit requests for customers as appropriate
  • Provide administrational and sales support to external sales resources
  • Ensure customer database is maintained and up-to-date at all times
  • Day to day maintenance and management of company website
  • Tracking and recording of logistics costs
  • Day to day liaison with internal and external operational partners
  • Maintain and update customer price files
  • Any other tasks as assigned by line manager

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
