Job Description

The Boathouse Upton Ltd are looking to recruit an Apprentice Commis Chef. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fresh food tapas bar based in Upton Upon Severn. Is this the role for you? Apply now!


Duties to include:

  • Preparing for evening cooking
  • preparing marinades, meatballs, chutneys and preserves
  • Assisting Head Chef
  • Preparation of salads and cold dishes
  • Stock rotation
  • Ordering
  • Fridge temps
  • Function preparations 
  • Create new dishes
  • Cleaning up

Future Prospects

Possible full time permanent position with the option to have more training.

Reality Check

  • Candidate must be able to travel to work on time due to the office being based in a rural location
  • Pay will increase after 8 weeks 
  • Daily tips are shared out amongst staff
