The Wrightington Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and confident applicant to join their team as an Apprentice Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individual. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.


Duties will include:

  • Food preparation
  • Preparing ingredients for dishes upon the instructions of the chef
  • Making sure that food supplies are stored properly and used resourcefully
  • Arranging food items on serving plates
  • Making sure that the kitchen is always clean and organised
  • Ensure that best food practices and kitchen hygiene protocols are adhered to
  • Maintaining a 'clean as you go' work ethic
  • Observing the Head Chef
  • Some Serving

  • To continue onto full time employment

Skills Required

  • Must have good practical ability and a good knowledge of working to food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills
