Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
To undertake all cleaning duties according to the standards and frequencies laid down and within the
guidelines on the use of cleaning materials and equipment. Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness standards including monitoring satellite units.
Distribution of food supplies to the satellite kitchens, record and monitor use.
Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, beverages and snacks in accordance with all Food Safety requirements.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full in-house training will be given by the company, a nationally recognised qualification as a Production Chef will be provided by Smart Training.
The successful applicant will work to achieve Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship Standard and Functional Skills Maths and English (If Required)
