We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys interacting with our residents and assisting them with their daily living activities. Candidates must be friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion care.

Responsibilities

Day to day duties will include:

  • Undertake daily care & support task as required by the individual resident’s, ensuring their emotional & physical needs are met
  • Take a person-centred approach to support
  • Help in the promotion of mental & physical activity of residents through talking to them, taking them out, helping them with activities
  • Serve meals, feed residents who need help & assist in the kitchen
  • Assist in the maintaining of all necessary care records professionally & accurately
  • Greet relatives & visitors

Future Prospects

Potential to progress onto the Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker standard.

Training Provided

Level 2 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Care
  • Level 1/2 functional skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
