What will the apprentice be doing?

Identifying potential suppliers and new products in line with BAM UK strategy
Contacting a range of suppliers and sub‐contractors to obtain quotations
Sending out buying enquiries for current projects & placing complex orders
Sending out tender enquiries in support of and working with estimating regional teams
Keeping detailed records and maintaining well‐organised work schedules
Assessing the reliability of sub‐contractors and suppliers in terms of KPI’s and feedback

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

With this Apprenticeship you can complete a Level 3 Procurement and supply assistant standard. This will be delivered in the workplace with a blend of remote and in person tutor visits. Our Apprenticeship will be a full-time role from Monday to Friday but you will be given the equivalent to 1 day a week to work towards your apprenticeship qualification.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Following the completion of the level 3 qualification you will be able to progress to the L4 Commercial Procurement & Supply Apprenticeship and gain a Level 4 CIPS Diploma; an industry recognised professional qualification.
