As an apprentice business administrator at Howdens you will provide support to your team and customers to contribute to the smooth running of the depot

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Ensure that all Depot administration is processed and completed accurately, efficiently and in the timescale required to support the team

Deal with both telephone and face to face enquiries from customers in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable way

Other duties will include invoicing customers, stock reconciliation, filing, mailing promotional material, reconciling petty cash, data entry and reporting

Provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of customer service

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Customer Service Practitioner - Level 2 apprenticeship
  • Regular face to face and remote visits from external training provider
  • Training provided by in house learning & development team
  • Access to Howdens Academy Learning System
  • Training provided at depot and Howdens training centre

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Possibilities for progression include Business Admin, Business Developer or Counter Sales roles, plus opportunities for sales, design and management roles
