Job Description

Working in a team offering finance solutions to both companies & individuals looking to make large purchase commitments, the apprentice will be working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, offering general administrative support & be involved in the more specific assistance of financial documentation & asset services.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will gain an excellent grounding in working within an office setting, helping to keep the running of a business as smooth as possible and ensuring that the business operations run as efficiently as possible. You will gain key and easily transferable skills that will, in time, help you to progress into management responsibilities.
This opportunity will be working in a team involved in offering finance solutions by providing a range of finance options to companies and individuals looking to make large purchases.

The role will be varied and day-to-day duties will include:

  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
  • Creating detailed and accurate proposal documents.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and
    requirements.
  • Creating detailed and accurate proposal documents.
  • Working closely and supporting the main office administration roles.
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with equipment suppliers.
  • Reviewing your own performance, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Sending target marketing letters to potential new clients and following up with phone calls to try to make appointments.
  • Updating the business's client database.
  • Assisting with the sending of mail marketing adverts.
  • Filing.
  • Raising and sending invoices.
  • General administrative duties.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training will be by means of regular online sessions and successful completion of the Apprenticeship will result in a level 3 Business Administration qualification.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is opportunity to move into full-time employment.
