Job Description

Granville Academy has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the Business Administration team.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Your duties and assignments will allow you to develop the skills and experience that you’ll require to develop expertise in the education sector, either through working in operational teams or on projects. During this time, you’ll combine on-the-job learning with formal, nationally recognised development training modules and have the opportunity to gain a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. 

Some tasks you may be carrying out are:

  • Providing support to HR by maintaining the training matrix, setting up digital HR files and assisting on recruitment and training days.
  • Provide support to the Business Office Manager with regards to health & safety administration, special projects and marketing.
  • Undertake more complex typing and other IT based tasks e.g. assisting in the preparation of minutes, reports and circulars.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

By the end of this apprenticeship, you will gain a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. Training will be provided by Learning Unlimited via remote learning, you will meet regularly with your tutor and submit coursework online.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After you have completed your apprenticeship you will have the ability to move forwards in your career in the business administrator sector.
