What will the apprentice be doing?
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to support a variety of projects and pieces of work within the service whilst developing their own knowledge and skills along the way.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop new and enhance existing skills whilst learning how to undertake a range of administrative tasks effectively and efficiently. These duties will include maintaining electronic filing systems, supporting with the creation of social media posts and articles for other communication channels such as the service newsletter, contributing to the organisation of events and meetings, maintaining records of the services technology (laptops and phones) and liaising with other colleagues to collect and share information.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Whilst working you will also study towards and complete a Business and Administration Level 3 qualification with East Sussex County Council's in-house training provider and have a mentor or supervisor in the work place to support you.
