Responsibilities

What will the Apprentice be overall responsible for?

  • Providing administrative and office support, including answering telephones, distribution of information, post, etc
  • To liaise with customers, their families, and third-party community services such as GPs, nurses, social workers, and voluntary groups in order to maintain the independence and well-being of the customer
  • To assist in the process of new referrals, assistive technology and make appointments
  • To ensure that new referrals are processed within the time-scales and to the standards required by our contract specification
  • Making appointments and arranging meetings and work for the staff
  • Handling client information in a sensitive and confidential manner
  • Preparing source documentation needed for new clients
  • Responding to routine queries and requests from Clients, managers, employees and colleagues
  • Liaise with Rawtenstall Office regarding the ordering of stationery, equipment and units regarding the client’s installation processes
  • Ensuring records are kept up to date
  • Developing and maintaining effective liaison with Rawtenstall Office to ensure they have up to date information
  • Meet and greet visitors to the Telecare Services Manager
  • Maintaining tidiness in the offices and ensuring records are secure, kept up to date and in an orderly fashion
  • To develop & maintain knowledge and expertise in this specialist function and demonstrate commitment to one’s own professional development
  • To observe and comply with Company procedures and policies including Financial Regulations, Equality and Diversity, and positively implement the Company’s customer care and complaints policy

Qualities Required

Qualifications Required

  • Preferably maths & English GCSE or equivalent grade 4 or above (But not essential).
