Job Description

You would begin with the basics and, combined with your ongoing training, we would assist you to be working and qualified as fully as you desire. This is an opportunity as limitless as your enthusiasm and desire to be the best.

Responsibilities

The apprentice will be working alongside a small team performing tasks such as:

  • Vehicle servicing/MOT repairs
  • Brake pad changes
  • Gearbox assembly
  • Keeping the work environment safe and clean

To grow as a skilled individual and become a part of a growing family business. Promotions are available, and out of hours workshop use is offered when you’re qualified.

 

Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of tools ideal, but not essential
  • No previous skills required

Qualities Required

  • Keen to learn
  • Honesty
  • Adhere to instructions and direction
  • Clean, tidy, and organised
  • Driving license, or intent to obtain a license. (Due ot nature of the role)

Qualifications Required

Maths and English GCSE’s or equivalent 9-2/A*-E or Functional Skills Level 1

Training Provided

Level 2 Autocare technician Apprenticeship Standard

On completion of this Standard the Auto-care Technician will be eligible to apply for IMI membership as a Registered Young Professional or if they wish as an Associate Member. They would also gain entry onto the IMI Professional Register.
