Apprentice administration assistant based in Liverpool.

Responsibilities

Purpose of role:

Assist with the provision of specialist business services to dental clients, including administrative support to the director of business services in preparing business valuations, marketing of dental businesses for sale and the negotiation of transactional sales.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new buyers, developing a buyer database and maintaining up-to-date buying specifications
  • Preparation, sending, and logging of various tiered ‘buyer agreements’ to new buyers
  • Assisting in the valuation of client dental practices, including the preparation of draft business evaluation reports and proof-reading final copy
  • Administrative support to the director of business services
  • Attending client meetings with the director of business services (when appropriate)
  • Attending business seminars and events, including exhibiting at national trade sector events

General responsibilities:

  • Always maintain client/buyer confidentiality
  • Time management and effective communication (both written and verbal)
  • Prioritise and organise work load effectively
  • Effective IT system management and database maintenance
  • Relationship building and effective communication with clients and other departments
  • Keeping up-to-date with competitors’ actions
  • Keeping up-to-date with dental sector legislation and ensuring knowledge is maintained
  • Promoting the company externally, including suggestions for the provision of suitable social media blogs and posts
  • Obtain buyer and client testimonials where possible
  • Any other tasks as reasonably required by line manager or a director
  • Attending any training or development activities as reasonably requested by line manager or director
  • Carrying our all duties in accordance with Goodman Grant’s documented policies and procedures
  • Marinating confidentiality at all times in all matters relating to the client and the practice
