Job Description

This is an exciting role for any aspiring finance professional. You can expect to learn a range of new skills, including how to work effectively in teams and how to use a variety of software packages. You will also improve your communication skills, develop your analytical abilities and grow your business knowledge

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • VAT returns
  • Corporation tax returns
  • Personal tax returns
  • Production of management accounts
  • Client bookkeeping
  • Ad-hoc duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs

Future Prospects

Training towards AAT level 4 and then further training towards ACCA qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at grades A/8 or above (or equivalent) in maths.

Training Provided

Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
