Job Description

Our apprenticeships allow you to study for an academic qualification while working and learning alongside respected, technical professionals. As an apprentice, you'll study at a local college on day release, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace.


What will the apprentice be doing?

With the primary responsibility to support your senior team, your responsibilities could include: Preparation of drawings, documents, graphics and illustrations for landscape schemes, Using Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D modelling, other drafting software packages, and traditional hand drawing methods, Site surveys and site investigations, Contributing to planning applications and other regulatory procedures, Preparation of detailed specifications for hard and soft landscape materials

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As part of your apprenticeship, you'll study towards a Level 3 qualification in Landscape Architecture. You'll study at a local college on day release, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll have access to our online network. You’ll also take internal courses. These cover technical aspects of the business, such as software, but also vital ‘soft’ skills such as report writing and working effectively.
