Job Description

The HR L&D Training Administration Apprentice advises and supports the executives and associates in all HR L&D related matters. They carry out all training administration responsibilities that cover all legal entities with multiple locations across the UK.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Maintaining training statistics.
  • Booking open courses, training courses, and communicating with training team.
  • Organising training events and supporting the training evaluation process.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Cooperating with and supporting the training administration team.
  • Creating and following up on service tickets.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship. 

The apprentice will be required to complete:

  • Work towards gaining a full Level 3 Business Administration Qualification.
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.
  • Standard and End Point Assessment.
  • Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required).

Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Administration role – primarily HR but could be in another business area Prospect of 5 years within company in admin role.

This is an HR administration role and does not lead directly into HR Management. Candidates need to be aware of this.
