What will the apprentice be doing?
- Using Power Bi for data visualisation
- Assisting the delivery of BI solutions
- Supporting with data sets and analysis
- Supporting with national data submissions including data linkage, disaggregation, trend analysis and forecasting
- Understand the wider business reporting requirements and local reporting requirements
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will study for a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship while gaining invaluable work experience and earning a wage.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of the apprenticeship, we will support you to apply for vacant positions within the Council. Our career pathway is designed to create opportunities for growth and development for everyone who joins us as an apprentice.
Reality Check
Desired qualities: A high knowledge of Excel is essential, including pivot tables and lookups. Knowledge of power query and VBA would be advantageous. Any experience with database management languages, such as SQL. A methodological and adaptable approach to problem solving.Skills Required
