Job Description

We are seeking our next Apprentice with a fantastic opportunity for progression. Based in the cetnre of Ipswich we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic admin apprentice to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with all staff and clients. The business administrator is expected to deliver their responsibilities efficiently with a positive attitude. Responsibilities and Duties: Being the first point of contact, answering the telephone and taking messages professionally Learning our onboarding process to add new clients onto our systems Filling / Scanning and maintaining records Handling confidential information in compliance with the organisation’s procedures Using multiple IT packages / CRM and online accountancy systems to input client data Learning our bookkeeping software and assisting the team with client liaison and administration duties Making tea/coffee and drinks for staff and clients when arriving for meetings Assisting with marketing and helping with social media

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

No regular college attendance required. Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A permanent position within the company The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop within the Administrative role, and will also have the opportunity after working within other departments and gaining an understanding of each role, will have the platform to move into - Accountancy - Bookkeeping / Payroll - Marketing / Social Media
