Adam & Co Accountant is looking to recruit their next Accountants Assistant. Our practice based in Hendon Central, the apprentice duties will include assisting with the admin team on all day to day administrative and Accountancy Services, etc.

Responsibilities

Working in a fast-paced environment and on tight deadlines, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

The main duties include:

  • General Office Administration
  • Answering Calls and Dealing with the queries
  • Book Keeping and Filing
  • Handling telephone enquiries
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT Returns

Reality Check

Please note attendance for Level 3 accounting will be x1 day (Fridays) per week at Uxbridge Campus 9am-4:30pm. Annual Leave Entitlement: 28 days

Skills Required

You will have strong, all around administration skills and be happy to work as part of a small team.

Qualifications Required

GCSE’s A-C/9-4 Grade maths and English

Training Provided

Assistant accountant level 3 standard 

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

Our Account Manager, industry-trained assessor and Learning Advocate support apprentices to deliver our high-quality training programmes.

The apprentice will be required to complete:

  • Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
  • Standard and End Point Assessment
  • Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT (if required)

Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.
