Supporting accountants across all compliance functions covering bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, monthly reporting, final accounts with the view of eventually being a client manager responsible for their own portfolio of clients.


Job Responsibilities

  • Working under direct supervision of Accountants
  • Chase data on behalf of Accountants where clients do not provide data in time
  • Regular data chasing as and when requested by Accountants
  • Call clients and explain them deadlines when not sending data on time
  • Email clients regularly explaining missing info
  • Save Data where needed direct on CRM 
  • Plan the work on daily weekly and monthly basis with Accountants
  • Bookkeeping, Item Allocations and Bank Reconciliations
  • on Accounting Software
  • Regular Preparation of Query sheet for client and discussing with Accountants
  • Highlight issues found with Accountants
  • Data entry of all clients on monthly basis where possible
  • Completion of year end control sheet and checklist
  • Client Welcome & New client setup
  • Accounting software online portal training and support for clients
  • Preparing client Self Assessments
  • Creating strong relations with clients
  • Awareness of Value - Added Services and ability to introduce them
  • Knowledge of Money Laundering
  • Knowledge of latest legislations
  • Undertaking any other ad-hoc works as directed by the Management

Skills Required

Since managing client relationships is an important aspect of the role, good communication and people skills are required. Excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications Required

GCSE English and maths A-C (4-9) or equivalent
