Job Description

Bloomsbury are looking for an editorial apprentice to provide general administrative support for various elements of the editorial process, assisting the editorial teams in subjects that might include Politics, International Development, Asia, African and Middle East Studies.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Tasks will include Administering non-royalty bearing contracts Completing applications for CIP data & copyright registration Commissioning peer reviews & soliciting pre-publication endorsements Ordering copies of published books Maintaining physical & electronic book files Managing data on database Responding to external & internal inquiries Checking copyright permissions Completing pro forma such as cheque requisitions and book orders Research tasks
