What will the apprentice be doing?
So, what is transport planning all about?
Can you imagine what it would be like to have an impact on the everyday journeys of those around you? Well as a transport planner you’ll be doing just that. Working alongside our network of experts, you’ll be helping to ensure that future transport and traffic plan designs continue to benefit the public and sustain the environment. Your responsibilities and possibilities will be endless! With the skills and knowledge gained from this apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, such as modelling transport systems or the development and implementation of travel planning schemes.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be taught on block release, so will have the opportunity to experinece campus life while away studing.
You will have a line manager, mentor and buddy as well as the support of your wider team. We also have a dedicated learning and development team who will be on hand to offer advice and assistance when required
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of all your hard work, you’ll have a Level 3 Diploma in Transport Planning along with the opportunity to become a qualified engineering technician (EngTech), and be eligible for further qualifications with our Transport Planning degree level apprentcieship.
