What will the apprentice be doing?
You would be working within a very busy team on some of the UK’s most high-profile projects such as High Speed 2, Heathrow Expansion, Crossrail 2. You will develop your knowledge by being involved in site surveys, helping carry out desk studies, and learn about legislation requirements affecting our projects. You will learn to use digital bespoke modelling software and GIS platforms, and will help coordinate environmental impact assessments, whilst producing written reports.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend university one day a week, and will work closely with your wider team. As well as having the full support of a dedicated learning and development team, you will have a line manager, mentor and buddy to ensure you feel fully supported.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of all your hard work, you’ll have a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and be eligible for a graduate position on our graduate development scheme.
