Job Description

Through our apprenticeship, you’ll be making the most of your talents, getting to understand engineering from the ground up; and doing so with the help of one of the biggest and best names in the industry.


What will the apprentice be doing?

As an Apprentice you will develop the key skills and experience in the following: review new designs of the product(s) you are working on for testability. Develope Test documentation including Test Specifications for production test and systems test. Running tests on products and materials within the Environmental facilities. Accredited measurement techniques. Develop understanding of compliance & regulations within environmental engineering & materials science.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an Environmental & Material Science Apprentice you will be working towards a Level 3 in Engineering Technician. For the duration of this 3-4 year programme you will be given one day per week in which to complete your studies with a local college. For the other 4 days you will be working in the business, applying your learning and gaining a breadth of experience across the industry.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You will become an Environmental & Material Science Engineer
